Real-Life Customers Review the Cooper CS5

Following our release of the all-new CS5, we were curious to find out what real-life customers thought of our new SUV tyre and the improvements that it contains. We rang up a few randomly-chosen customers to get their feedback – here’s what they had to say!

Grant Toyer from Canberra is an experienced off-road driver who knows the importance of tyres when you’re travelling long distances exploring the best of Australia. He purchased his CS5’s in July after seeing that Coopers were the choice of Pat Callinan (Mr. 4X4) himself; it was great to see that Grant liked our highway tyres as much as our off-road tyres!

Grant’s review of the CS5? “They haven’t disappointed me. Handling on the black top has improved with noticeably less body roll when cornering and a quieter ride. The CS5’s have also the improvement in fuel economy. These tyres are no doubt everything Cooper are renowned for and anyone driving an SUV should consider Cooper CS5’s for their next lot of rubber.”

Kate Miller has been a Cooper customer for a while now and lives in the gold heritage town of Bendigo, VIC. As someone who’s driven the CS4 over thousands of kilometres, she’s uniquely well-placed to give us insights into how the CS5 compares to its predecessor.

“I find that the CS5’s have lots of grip on the road, so I always feel safe and secure while driving no matter what the weather’s like, and as a bonus there’s no noticeable noise whatsoever when I’m on the road. I feel like I can definitely trust the Cooper CS5 to deliver the same, if not better, quality that I experienced with my last set of Cooper tyres – highly recommended!”

Travis Simmons of Nagambie, VIC has plenty of automotive experience thanks to his previous line of work with the RACV. We were really excited that he too was happy with his CS5’s: “I immediately noticed that they had much better grip than my previous set of Dunlops. They definitely feel a lot safer and I’m pleased with how they perform on the highway and on any back roads I come across.”
