Okay, so we might have a bit of an ulterior motive here and it has everything to do with this park’s location in the Margaret River wine region, home to some of Australia’s best vineyards as well as incredible restaurants, micro-breweries and more. But that’s not to detract from the fact this is an awesome holiday park for kids. 6. Big 4 MacDonnell Range Holiday Park, Alice Springs, NT

An oasis for families in the heart of the Red Centre, the Big 4 MacDonnell Range has plenty to keep your little ones busy. With multiple swimming pools and a waterslide, you’ll be lucky to drag the kids away from the pool area on those hot summer days, while you can find space to relax in the shade on a banana lounge. But just in case the kids do feel like drying off, there’s a BMX track, two jumping pillows, a playground and a games room.
