Cooper Discoverer Sure Trac (S/T) - Driver Report

To Cooper Tyres,

I brought 8 Cooper Sure Trac tyres in May this year. 5 for the Nissan Patrol and 4 for the Bushtracker Caravan, which weighs loaded up close to 3 tons.

Not having had Cooper Tyres before, I did not know how the tyres would handle the various road conditions I would encounter on my round Australia trip.

Well, having just returned after being 11 weeks on the road and having covered 18,500 km in this time, I must say I am impressed by the tyres. Having done more than 1000 kms on dirt roads, the roughest being the return trip into the Bungle Bungles, the tyres preformed well.

I had only encountered one flat tyre; that happened following a grader from Gibb River Road to Windjana Gorge, Tunnel Creek Road. But I must say that would have happened on any brand of tyres.

I can certainly recommend the Cooper Sure Trac and will use them again.
