Cooper H/T Plus

Geoff Horne

"I have just worn out the original tyres on my Rangie and changed to Cooper's HT Plus tyres. Looking back I should've changed to Coopers when I bought the vehicle. With my past three 4wd's I had new Coopers fitted before I took delivery of the new vehicle, trading my original tyres in and I am proud to say that I have not purchased a new tyre to replace the Coopers for the past 7 years. I sold each vehicle with approximately 80 to 90,000km on the clock and the Coopers were still going well.

In 2005, I purchased a new Range Rover HSE but this time I decided to wear out the original tyres before changing to Coopers. In hindsight that was a mistake. I had to change the original tyres after only 55,000kms. And, after driving 55,000 kms on the originals I now appreciate the Coopers tyres for more than mileage, the biggest difference is the noise, the Cooper HT Plus tyres are much quieter and feel more sure-footed on both wet and dry roads. It's a good feeling to be back on the Coopers, I'm sure I won't need to replace them before I sell the Rangie in a few years time."
