COOPER CONFERENCE A SUCCESS

"The 2002 Cooper Tyre Dealer Conference was the best ever," stated Brand Manager Steve Vickers.

Held on Fraser Island over the weekend of 21-22 September, the conference attracted dealers from Western Australia, South Australia, Victoria, New South Wales, ACT and Queensland.

4WD training is an important part of the Cooper Conference, with aspects relating to tyre patterns, consumer choice, load ratings, tyre construction and pressures being the major topics. Field demonstrations on 4WD tracks, sand dunes and open beach conditions reinforced the Cooper product for the dealers present.

Cooper Tires Worldwide Technical Manager, Martin Degyansky, and the Asia Pacific Sales Manager, Steve Kersh, were in attendance to explain new technological developments and future product releases.

They awarded Exclusive Tyres a plaque for 10 years of loyal and successful marketing of Cooper Tires in Australia.

Managing Director of Exclusive Tyres, Terry Smith, an active 4WD enthusiast, accepted the plaque and thanked his nationwide Cooper dealer network for their outstanding results in the 4WD tyre market. With sales well over budget, Mr Smith has every reason to smile.
